EMBARK ON A JOURNEY THROUGH TIME as you weave through the Heritage House, Trapper’s Cabin, Caboose and the original NAR Train Station
The influx of settlers into the Pouce Cope Prairie evoked the need for permanent medical staff. Located in the original train station, the Pouce Coupe Museum features Doctor Edward Gardiner Hollies’ medical equipment from 1936-1971. See the first x-ray machine brought into the Peace Country from Edmonton, a shortwave therapy machine to treat arthritis, and other medical magic he used to treat residents in the area.
